J. Robert Hayes

J. Robert Hayes (born February 28, 1932)^[1][2] is an American politician.^[3][4] He served as a Republican member for the 39th district of the California State Assembly.^[1][5]

Hayes was born in Glendale, California.^[1][2] Hayes went to school in Los Angeles,^[1] and then attended Los Angeles City College.^[1] Hayes served in the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps Reserve.^[1] In 1978, he was elected for the 39th district of the California State Assembly.^[5] Hayes succeeded Jim Keysor. In 1980, he was succeeded by Richard Katz.
