Jackson Township is one of twelve townships in Rush County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 362 and it contained 142 housing units.[3]

History
Jackson Township was organized in 1830.[5]
The Smith Covered Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.[6]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 22.6 square miles (59 km2), all land.[7]
