Matthew Allan
Matthew Bruce Allan (born April 17, 2001) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.
Allan attended Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. During his senior year, he threw a perfect game in which he struck out 17 batters.[1] He was named the 2019 Florida High School Player of the Year by Perfect Game.[2] Allan committed to play college baseball at the University of Florida.[3][4]
Allan was drafted by the New York Mets in the third round with the 89th overall selection in the 2019 Major League Baseball draft.[5] He was considered a top prospect for the draft, but fell due to his strong commitment to Florida.[6][7] He signed for $2.5 million, the richest deal ever for a third round selection.[7][8] He made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Mets before being promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones of the Class A Short Season New York–Penn League. Over 10+1⁄3 innings between both teams, he went 1–0 with a 2.61 ERA and 14 strikeouts.[9] He did not play a minor league game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.[10]
On May 7, 2021, it was announced that Allan would require Tommy John surgery, causing him to miss the 2021 season.[11] He underwent a cleanup procedure in January 2022, and missed the 2022 season as well.
On February 4, 2023, it was announced that Allan had undergone UCL revision surgery in January, and would likely miss the 2023 season, his fourth consecutive season with no game action.[12]

Jesús Báez
Jesús Manuel Báez (born February 26, 2005) is a Dominican professional baseball infielder in the New York Mets organization.
Báez signed with the New York Mets as an international free agent in January 2022.[13] He made his professional debut that season with the Dominican Summer League Mets.
Báez played 2023 with the Florida Complex League Mets and 2024 with the St. Lucie Mets and Brooklyn Cyclones.[14][15]

Ryan Clifford
Ryan Andrew Clifford (born July 20, 2003) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the New York Mets organization.
Clifford attended Leesville Road High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, before transferring to Crossroads Flex High School in Cary, North Carolina.[16] He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 11th round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.[17] He signed with the Astros rather than play college baseball at Vanderbilt University.[18]
Clifford spent his first professional season with the Florida Complex League Astros and Fayetteville Woodpeckers. He started 2023 with Fayetteville.[19]
On August 1, 2023, Clifford was traded alongside Drew Gilbert, to the New York Mets in exchange for Justin Verlander.[20]

Corey Collins
Corey Joseph Collins (born October 10, 2001) is an American professional baseball catcher and outfielder in the New York Mets organization.
Collins attended North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia. As a junior, Collins hit .483 with 16 home runs, before committing to play college baseball at the University of Georgia.[21][22] In 2022, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[23]
As a senior, Collins hit .354 with 20 home runs, in addition to leading the NCAA in on-base percentage.[24] He was named a second-team All-American at the end of the season.[25]
Collins was selected in the sixth round, with the 173rd overall pick, by the New York Mets in the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.[26][27]

Nate Dohm
Nathaniel Steven Dohm (born January 9, 2003) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.
Dohm attended Zionsville Community High School in Zionsville, Indiana, where he played baseball.[28] After graduating, he enrolled at Ball State University where he played one season of college baseball, going 4–3 with a 5.71 ERA and 56 strikeouts over 51 innings.[29] After the season, he transferred to Mississippi State University.[30] As a sophomore for Mississippi State in 2023, he appeared in 17 games and went 6–4 with a 4.07 ERA.[31][32] Dohm missed time as a junior in 2024 due to a forearm strain, but still appeared in eight games (six starts) in 2024, going 4–0 with a 1.23 ERA and 37 strikeouts.[33][34] After the season, he was selected by the New York Mets in the third round of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft, and signed with the team for $797,500.[35]
Dohm made his professional debut in 2025 with the St. Lucie Mets.[36] In mid-May, he was promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones.[37]

A. J. Ewing
Andrew Joseph Ewing (born August 10, 2004) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the New York Mets organization.
Ewing attended Springboro High School in Springboro, Ohio. He was selected by the New York Mets in the fourth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.[38] Ewing signed with the Mets and made his professional debut that year with the Florida Complex League Mets.[39]
Ewing started 2024 with the FCL Mets and St. Lucie Mets and started 2025 with the St. Lucie before being promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones in May.[40]

Dominic Hamel
Dominic Avery Hamel (born March 2, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.
Hamel attended Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona, and played college baseball at Yavapai College and Dallas Baptist University. He was drafted by the New York Mets in the third round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.[41]
Hamel made his professional debut with the Florida Complex League Mets. He started 2022 with the St. Lucie Mets before being promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones.[42][43]
He extended his solid pitching in 2023, having an 8–6 record with a 3.85 ERA for the AA Binghamton Rumble Ponies. He led the Mets minor leagues in K (160, 7 ahead of Blake Tidwell) and was third in wins. He tied for 6th in the Eastern League in wins and was second in strikeouts. He opened 2024 with the AAA Syracuse Mets.[citation needed]

Ryan Lambert
Ryan Patrick Lambert (born September 2, 2002) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.
Lambert attended Minnetonka High School in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and played college baseball at North Iowa Area Community College, Missouri State University and the University of Oklahoma. He was selected by the New York Mets in the eighth round of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.[34]
Lambert made his professional debut with Brooklyn Cyclones and started 2025 with Brooklyn before being promoted to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.[44]

Nick Morabito
Nicholas Anthony Morabito (born May 7, 2003) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the New York Mets organization.
Morabito attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C.. As a senior in 2022, he was the Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year for Washington, D.C.[45] Morabito was selected by the New York Mets in the second round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.[46] He signed with the Mets rather than play college baseball at Virginia Tech.[47]
Morabito made his professional debut with the Florida Complex League Mets. He played 2023 with the Florida Complex League Mets and St. Lucie Mets and started 2024 with St. Lucie.

Jacob Reimer
Jacob Lee Reimer (born February 22, 2004) is an American professional baseball third baseman in the New York Mets organization.
Reimer attended Yucaipa High School in Yucaipa, California.[48] He was drafted by the New York Mets in the fourth round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. He made his professional debut that year with the Florida Complex League Mets.[49]
In 2023, Reimer played for the Florida Complex League Mets, St. Lucie Mets and Brooklyn Cyclones.[50]

Zach Thornton
Zachary Charles Thornton (born January 17, 2002) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.
Thornton attended Lawrence Free State High School in Lawrence, Kansas. He played two seasons of college baseball at Barton Community College before transferring to Grand Canyon University for the 2023 season. In his lone season at Grand Canyon, he started 15 games and went 9–2 with a 3.87 ERA.[51] After the season, he participated in the MLB Draft League.[52] He was then selected by the New York Mets in the fifth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.[53] Thornton signed with the team for $350,000.[54]
Thornton made his professional debut in 2024 with the St. Lucie Mets and was promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones in August. Over twenty games (12 starts) between the two teams, he went 5–4 with a 4.10 ERA and 54 strikeouts over 68 innings. He returned to Brooklyn to open the 2025 season and was named South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Month in April.[55] He was promoted to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in late April.

Jack Wenninger
Jonathan Andrew Wenninger (born March 14, 2002) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.
Wenninger attended Cary-Grove High School in Cary, Illinois, and played college baseball at Murray State University and the University of Illinois.[56] As a junior at Illinois in 2023, he started 14 games and went 6–4 with a 4.71 ERA over 80+1⁄3 innings. After the season, he was selected by the New York Mets in the sixth round of the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.[57] He signed with the team for $225,000.[54]
Wenninger made his professional debut after signing and played the Florida Complex League Mets and St. Lucie Mets, appearing in two games total. He returned to St. Lucie to open the 2024 season and was promoted to the Brooklyn Cyclones in early July. Over 25 games (19 starts) between both teams, he pitched to a 4–6 record, a 4.30 ERA, and 140 strikeouts over 115 innings.[58] Wenninger was assigned to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies to start the 2025 season and was named the team's Opening Day starter.[59]

Calvin Ziegler

Calvin William Ziegler (born October 3, 2002) is a Canadian professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.
Ziegler was born in Canada and attended TNXL Academy in Ocoee, Florida, his senior year due to Canadian travel restrictions because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[60][61] He was drafted by the New York Mets in the second round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.[62]
Ziegler made his professional debut in 2022 with the St. Lucie Mets.[63] In 16 starts, he went 0–6 with a 4.44 ERA and 70 strikeouts across 46+2⁄3 innings pitched.
In March 2023, Ziegler underwent surgery to remove bone spurs from his right elbow.[64] While recovering from the procedure, he suffered a torn right quadriceps tendon and was ruled out for the season.[65][66] However, on September 8, Ziegler was activated to make his season debut.[67]
Ziegler began the 2024 season with High-A Brooklyn. On April 18, 2024, it was revealed that Ziegler would undergo Tommy John surgery, ending his season.[68]
