Jacqueline Guest CM (born 1952)[1] is a Métis writer and activist from Alberta, Canada. Guest is a literacy advocate and a writers of books for children and young adults. In 2017 she was inducted into the Order of Canada.[2]

Awards and honours

In 2012, Guest received the Indspire Award for the Arts, which "recognize[s] Indigenous professionals and youth who demonstrate outstanding career achievement."[3]

In 2017, she was inducted into the Order of Canada[2] "for her contributions as a children’s book author who promotes multiculturalism, youth literacy and Indigenous culture."[4]
