Jeepito is a small gasoline-powered vehicle of the Jeepney style. Its manufacturing company is owned by Ronald Carlton Papa Tan, better known as ‘Tonton Papa’, from Baguio, Philippines. Jeepito means Small Jeepney. It is currently the smallest Philippine Jeepney.[1]

Jeepito tours the Philippines via invitations by Government offices to promote tourism. Jeepito participates in Festival parades.[2]

It is 92 inches long and 42 inches wide, with a height of 55 inches.[3]

History

Jeepito was designed in Tan's garage by him in Baguio and then built in Mabalacat, Pampanga by him and his co-builder/mechanic Arnel Pacia. He used a 3- cylinder Suzuki multicab engine.[4][5]

He spent a total of Php165,000 to build jeepney and another Php50,000 to make it street legal.[5]

Jeepito participated in the 2016 Float Parade. Jeepito was adorned by Roses and Everlasting flowers.[6][7][8] Riding Jeepito were Tan and his co-hosts ‘Lester the Pester’ and ‘Carlito Romantiko’.

On December 9, 2021, Jeepito featured in an episode entitled "Jeepito: The World's Smallest Philippine Jeepney" by OG.[citation needed]
