Perspective
Silkowitz was raised in Fairfax, Virginia, one of two children born to Robert Silkowitz and Joni Henderson. She attended Woodson High School, where she lettered in soccer all four years and was named second-team all-state in 2017. She played ECNL club soccer for McLean Youth Soccer.[2] She committed to play college soccer for Ohio State.[3]
Ohio State Buckeyes
Silkowitz redshirted her freshman season with the Ohio State Buckeyes as a backup to Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year Devon Kerr.[4] The following year in the 2019 season, she shared goalkeeping duties with another keeper, appearing in all 18 games but starting just 4 of them. She led the Buckeyes in saves and picked up Big Ten all-freshman honors.[2][5]
Iowa State Cyclones
Silkowitz transferred to the Iowa State Cyclones before the 2020 season, playing every minute of the season and managing 3 clean sheets in 13 games.[2] In the 2021 season, she kept 4 clean sheets in 14 games. One of the shutouts came against TCU in the first round of the Big 12 tournament before losing on penalties.[2][6] In the 2022 season, Silkowitz led the Big 12 with 100 saves (including career-high 12-save games against both Iowa and Oklahoma State) and kept 3 shutouts in 17 games.[2][7]

Silkowitz was drafted by the Kansas City Current with the 18th overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NWSL Draft, becoming the first Iowa State player to be drafted in the NWSL.[8][9] She was signed to a two-year contract.[10] However, she never appeared in a competitive game for Kansas City, being a backup to Cassie Miller and Adrianna Franch.[11]
Brisbane Roar (loan)
Silkowitz was loaned to the Australian club Brisbane Roar FC on September 13, 2023.[12] On October 15, three days after arriving in Australia, she made her professional debut starting in the season opener against Melbourne Victory FC.[13][14] She made 18 appearances for the Roar, recording five wins and three clean sheets, before being called back to the Kansas City Current on March 8, 2024.[15]
Bay FC
On August 28, 2024, Bay FC announced that they had acquired Silkowitz from the Kansas City Current in exchange for Kayla Sharples and $15,000 in allocation money.[16] She signed a two-year contract extension the following month.[17]
Following the retirement of starter Katelyn Rowland, Silkowitz made her NWSL debut as Bay's opening day starter on March 15, 2025, a 1–1 draw against the Utah Royals.[18][19] The following week, she kept her first NWSL clean sheet as Bay FC won 2–0 at home against Racing Louisville on March 22.[20] On May 4, she faced her first NWSL penalty and saved the attempt from María Sánchez in a 2–1 loss to the San Diego Wave.[21] Midway through the season, Bay FC signed Silkowitz to a new contract lasting through 2027, including an additional club option for 2028.[22]
