Jovaughn Dakar Gwyn (born March 18, 1999) is an American professional football guard for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the South Carolina Gamecocks.[1][2][3]

College career

Gwyn was ranked as a four-star recruit by 247Sports.com coming out of Harding University High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.[4][5]

He committed to South Carolina on December 20, 2017, over offers from NC State, Duke, and Appalachian State.[6] He started 46 of 48 games at South Carolina.[7]

Gwyn was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round, 225th overall, of the 2023 NFL draft.[10][11]

On November 28, 2024, Gwyn was waived by the Falcons, and re-signed to the practice squad.[12] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 6, 2025.[13]
