Julani Kyle Archibald (born 18 May 1991) is a Kittitian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Honduran club Platense and the Saint Kitts and Nevis national team. Besides Malta, Archibald has played club football in Saint Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad and Tobago, and Honduras.[2][3][4][5]

Club career

In the 2015 MLS Caribbean Combine, Archibald was one of two goalkeepers in the 19-player list and was the one of two players from Saint Kitts and Nevis.[6] [7]

He made the winning save for W Connection F.C. to prevent domestic rivals Central F.C. in a dramatic penalty-shoot-out. As a result, W Connection made the final of the 2015 Trinidad and Tobago Classic.[8]

In 2018, he signed for Real de Minas.[9][10][11][12][13][14][15]

In 2021, he signed for Santa Lucia.[16][17][18][19][20] In 2022, he signed for Birkirkara.[21][22][23]

International career

Archibald was the Kittitian goalkeeper for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification stages against Turks and Caicos.[24]

He also played in two friendlies, including a victory against Andorra.[25]
