The program is coached by Travis Geopfert.[3] The track and field program officially encompasses four teams because the NCAA considers men's and women's indoor track and field and outdoor track and field as separate sports.[4]
Long and triple jumper Kenny Harrison and high jumper Scott Sellers are the only two Kansas State athletes to have won three individual NCAA track and field titles.[5][6] Kansas State also competes in the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular since 2015.[7]
