Kendice (Hungarian: Kende) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1249.[citation needed]
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 234 metres and covers an area of 9.34 km2 (3.61 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[4]
Population
It has a population of about 2,044 people (2020-12-31).[5]
