Kobokwe Cave (Tswana: Legaga la ga Kobokwe), also known as Livingstone’s Cave, is a small sandstone cave located near the village of Molepolole in the Kweneng District of Botswana.[1][2][3] The cave is associated with the 1847 visit of Scottish missionary and explorer David Livingstone,[4][5][6] who is reported to have spent a night there as part of his mission to convert the people of the Bakwena tradition to Christianity.[7][8]
