Komarichsky District

Komarichsky District (Russian: Кома́ричский райо́н) is an administrative^[1] and municipal^[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,020 square kilometers (390 sq mi).^[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Komarichi.^[1] Population: 15,859 (2021 Census);^[8] 18,064 (2010 Census);^[3] 20,065 (2002 Census);^[9] 21,649 (1989 Soviet census).^[10] The population of Komarichi accounts for 46.2% of the district's total population.^[8]
