Krasnoufimsky District (Russian: Красноуфи́мский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Krasnoufimsky Urban Okrug.[5] Its administrative center is the town of Krasnoufimsk[2] (which is not administratively a part of the district).[7] Population: 28,077 (2010 Census);[3] 31,581 (2002 Census);[8] 36,286 (1989 Soviet census).[9]

Administrative and municipal status
Within the framework of administrative divisions, Krasnoufimsky District is one of the thirty in the oblast.[1] The town of Krasnoufimsk serves as its administrative center,[2] despite being incorporated separately as an administrative unit with the status equal to that of the districts.[7]
As a municipal division, the district is incorporated as Krasnoufimsky Urban Okrug.[5] The Town of Krasnoufimsk is incorporated separately from the district as Krasnoufimsk Urban Okrug.[10]
