Krasnoufimsky District (Russian: Красноуфи́мский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.^[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Krasnoufimsky Urban Okrug.^[5] Its administrative center is the town of Krasnoufimsk^[2] (which is not administratively a part of the district).^[7] Population: 28,077 (2010 Census);^[3] 31,581 (2002 Census);^[8] 36,286 (1989 Soviet census).^[9]

Administrative and municipal status

Within the framework of administrative divisions, Krasnoufimsky District is one of the thirty in the oblast.^[1] The town of Krasnoufimsk serves as its administrative center,^[2] despite being incorporated separately as an administrative unit with the status equal to that of the districts.^[7]

As a municipal division, the district is incorporated as Krasnoufimsky Urban Okrug.^[5] The Town of Krasnoufimsk is incorporated separately from the district as Krasnoufimsk Urban Okrug.^[10]
