History

Sometime in the early 50s, a group of Akwasiase kinsmen moved from Mim to occupy portion of the Bitre virgin forest. They settled nearby a footpath-junction that led to the hunting ground of Op. Kramo Korkoor. Hence the footpath-Junction being called Kramo Korkoor Nkwanta/junction. Ohemaa Akua Afriyie was the first to build a mud house at an abandoned Mim Timber Company(MTC) loading station nearby the footpath junction. Others also followed thereby establishing the Kramo Korkor Nkwanta village which is now called Kwadwo Addaikrom.
