Lamnoidea

Lamnoidea is a proposed superfamily of mackerel sharks, including families Lamnidae and Otodontidae. Ssynapomorphies, including regional endothermy, tooth morphology, and rostral cartilage morphology, support a sister group relationship between lamnids and otodontids.^[2][3][4]
