Lee Chan-joon (Korean: 이찬준; born 7 January 2002), is a South Korean racing driver currently competing in the GT World Challenge Asia with Vollgas Motorsports.

Karting

Lee contested the 2015 CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy in the KFJ class and would compete in the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals two times in 2016 and 2017, where he contested the Rotax Junior and Rotax Senior classes. He would also take part in the 2018 Rotax Japan in the Rotax Senior category[1]

Superrace Championship

Lee made his debut in the 2020 season for the Superrace Championship in the Super 6000 class, where he would collect seven points and finished 19th in the championship.

In 2021 he drove for LOAR Racing and got two podiums in his campaign, at the first and third round at Everland Speedway. Lee finished the championship in 5th position with 77 points.

When 2022 rolled around, he signed for ECSTA Racing, where he had high championship hopes after getting a podium at the first round at Everland Speedway, followed by another podium two rounds later at Inje Speedium. He would get his maiden win at the second-to-last round at Everland Speedway. He finished the championship in 4th place with 92 points.

Lee continued his partnership with ECSTA Racing in 2023, where after a lowly ninth place at the opening round in Everland Speedway, he got his debut pole position at the next race in Everland Speedway, which he followed up with his second win in the series. Lee charged to the championship as he got four podiums in the next six races, with two of them being race wins. He was crowned 2023 Superrace Champion in the Super 6000 category, with 132 points.

GT World Challenge Asia

After a year of hiatus, he returned to motorsports in form of the 2025 GT World Challenge Asia with Korean team Vollgas Motorsports, where he withdrew from the first round and wasn't classified in the championship.[2][3]
