Lesedi Alton Kapinga (born 25 May 1995) is a South African professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for South African Premier Division side Sekhukhune United.

Career
Having started his senior career at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, he joined Black Leopards in the summer of 2018.[2][1] His performances in the 2019–20 season attracted praise and interest from larger clubs.[3][4] In the summer of 2020, Kapinga joined Mamelodi Sundowns on a five-year deal.[5]
Kapinga was called up for South Africa for the 2023 COSAFA Cup, where he made his international debut.[6] He moved from Orlando Pirates to Sekhukhune United in October 2024.[7]

Personal life
Kapinga is a cousin of the late Orlando Pirates striker Lesley Manyathela. He is from Limpopo province, a town called Musina. He is a former teammate with his hometown friend Khuliso Mudau[8] during his short spell at Mamelodi Sundowns. He was released on a free transfer in 2022, and joined Orlando Pirates.
