Life in Sydney; or, The Ran Dan Club is an 1843 Australian stage play. It was one of the first plays written in Australia. However it was banned from production by the Colonial Secretary. It is unclear who wrote it.[1]
The play was eventually performed in Australia in 1978.
Leslie Rees said "it contains a very vivid account of the raffish street and pub round of Sydney in the 1840s."[2]
