Lillian Zinkant

Lillian Zinkant is a camogie player,^[1] who won a Minor All Ireland medal as part of the Cork Minor Team and the winner of the award for the Minor Camogie Player of the Year during the later part of the 1970s or the early part of the 1980s.^[2]

Career

The daughter of George Zinkant of the 1951 championship winning Sarsfields team, Lill played with South Presentation, Cork, before becoming the inspiration of her club's unsuccessful run of games in the All-Ireland Junior Club Camogie Championship.^{[citation needed]} Lill scored a total of a goal and four of the club's points in all of the season, and also won the league title with the club.

After her retirement Lill did some of the camogie coaching of the different teams.^[3][4] She attended the various presentations of awards for the other people to help them in the acknowledgment. She was the winner of some of her own trophies like of the Volunteer of the Year.
