Liolaemus fitzingerii, also known commonly as Fitzinger's tree iguana, is a species of lizard in the family Liolaemidae.[2] The species is native to extreme southern South America.

Etymology
The specific name, fitzingerii, is in honor of Austrian herpetologist Leopold Fitzinger.[3]
Geographic range
L. fitzingerii is found in Argentina (Chubut Province, Santa Cruz Province) and Chile (Aysén Region).[1][2]
Habitat
The preferred natural habitats of L. fitzingerii are shrubland and grassland, at altitudes from sea level to 1,100 m (3,600 ft).[1]
