The following is a list of Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel in 2024.

January

  • January 8: Eight rockets launched from Gaza. The Al-Qassam Brigades fired a rocket salvo targeting Tel Aviv and the Al-Quds Brigades separately fired rockets targeting Sderot and Nir Am.[1][2]
  • January 18: The Al-Qassam Brigades fired rockets towards Kissufim in southern Israel.[3]
  • January 26: The PIJ fired rockets targeting five locations in southern Israel, including Ashkelon, Nir Am, and Sderot while the Mujahideen Brigades fired rockets at what it claimed was an IDF headquarters for the Gaza Division's "Northern Brigade" and at Nahal Oz.[4]
  • January 29: At least 10 rockets fired from Gaza toward central Israel.[5] The Al-Qassam Brigades fired one rocket salvo targeting Tel Aviv.[6]

February

  • February 1: PIJ launched mortars towards Kissufim. The Mujahideen Brigades fired rockets at an Israeli military base in Re'im.[7]
  • February 8: 14 locations in southern Israel were targeted by rockets. The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement fired rockets from Gaza targeting 13 locations in southern Israel. The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine reported that its fighters fired a rocket salvo targeting a 14th town in southern Israel.[8]

  • February 16: 3 rockets fired towards Israel. The al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades launch rockets targeting Israeli military site and Ashkelon. PIJ also fired rockets targeting Ashkelon. It was reported that three rockets landed in the sea.[12]
  • February 26: 2 rocket attacks launched towards Israel: PIJ launched rockets towards the Kissufim military site and the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement launched rockets towards Re'im.[13]
  • February 27: PIJ fired rockets from the Gaza Strip towards Ashkelon caused damage to civilian infrastructure.[14]
  • February 28: PIJ launched rockets from Gaza towards Kissufim.[15]
  • February 29: The Popular Resistance Committees fired rockets from Gaza into southern Israel in response to the humanitarian aid convoy incident.[16]

March

  • March 1: The Popular Resistance Committees fired rockets targeting Israeli military positions in the north of the Gaza Strip in response to the humanitarian aid convoy incident on February 28. The al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades fired rocket-propelled grenades (RPG) and mortars against Israeli forces.[17]
  • March 2: The PIJ launched a rocket salvo towards Hatzerim.[18]
  • March 7: The PIJ fired rockets targeting Nahal Oz.[19]
  • March 14: The PIJ fired rockets targeting unspecified Israeli towns surrounding the Gaza Strip.[20]
  • March 15: The PIJ fired rockets targeting Sderot. Israeli intercepted one of the rockets and a second rocket landed outside of Sderot.[21]
  • March 16: The Mujahideen Brigades fired rockets into southern Israel, and red alerts were reported in Nahal Oz.[21]
  • March 21: Rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip at Beeri and were claimed by PIJ and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). IDF reported that it intercepted a rocket.[22]
  • March 25: Al-Qassam Brigades launch 8 rockets from northern Gaza toward Ashdod.[23][24] The Al-Quds Brigades fired a barrage of rockets at Sderot.[25]

April

  • April 4: 7 rocket launches from Gaza were initiated toward Israel.[26]
  • April 23: The Al-Quds Brigades launched four rockets from the northern Gaza Strip towards Sderot and Nir Am. The Iron Dome intercepted the four rockets, but they caused a fire in a warehouse due to rocket shrapnel without causing any injuries.[27]

May

  • May 26: Rockets were fired from Rafah towards Tel Aviv around 2 pm, one landed in Tel Aviv, one landed in Kfar Saba creating a large crater, no serious injuries were reported. According to Israeli military, 8 rockets were launched, 3 were intercepted and 5 landed in open areas.[28][29]
