List of Sigma Pi chapters

Sigma Pi is a collegiate fraternity in North America.^[1] It was founded as Tau Phi Delta at Vincennes University on February 26, 1897.^[1] In 1907, the fraternity was renamed Sigma Pi.^[1] In 1965, the fraternity absorbed the remaining chapters of Delta Kappa fraternity.^[2]

1. Chapter was founded as the local Tau Phi Delta and changed its name to Sigma Pi in 1907. After going inactive, it reformed from the Corinthian Club, established in 1964.
2. Chapter formed from the Sphinx Club, established in 1907. It was named Phi because the Sphinx Club was told it would be the fifteenth chapter of the Sigma Pi to make the fraternity appear larger.
