The Ukrainian national bandy championship for men has been held annually since 2012. The inaugural championship took place on February 26, 2012, in Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, following Ukraine's independence. The tournament was a one-day event held at the city's central stadium, featuring four teams: HC Severodonetsk, Azot (Severodonetsk), Avangard (Budy), and Dnipro (Dnipropetrovsk).

Initially, the championship was decided by round-robin results. However, from 2013 to 2015, a playoff format was introduced, culminating in a deciding final match. The Ukrainian Bandy and Rink Bandy Federation organizes the championship and oversees its proceedings.[1]
Competing teams have included Avangard Budy, Azot Severodonetsk, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, Dynamo Kharkiv, Zenit Dnipropetrovsk, and MBC Severodonetsk.
