History

Aashish Khan		Indian classical musician, raised as a Muslim but began identifying as a Hindu in the 2000s. Also added the ancestral surname "Debsharma" to his name, tracing his roots back to an 18th-century Brahmin family that had adopted Islam.	[33][34]
Chander Mohan		Indian politician, converted to Islam for marriage in 2008; reverted to Hinduism a year later.	[35][36]
Syed Waseem Rizvi		Former member and chairman of the Shia Central Waqf Board of Uttar Pradesh, India converted to Hinduism on 6 December 2021 and changed his name to Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi.	[37]

Mandana Karimi		Iranian actress born as Manizeh Karimi. Accepted Hinduism to marry Indian businessman Gaurav Gupta in 2016.	[48]
Apu Biswas		Bangladeshi actress who converted to Islam to marry Shakib Khan, then reverted to Hinduism after divorce.	[49]
Urfi Javed		Though raised in a conservative Muslim family, Javed has stated that "I don't believe in Islam". In 2021, Javed stated that she would not marry a Muslim man, and said she was in the process of reading the Bhagavad Gita.	[50]
