List of fatal shark attacks in Australia

This is a list of fatal shark attacks in Australia. The Australian Shark-Incident Database has recorded that between 1791 and November 2025 there were 312 fatal shark attacks in Australia.^[1] Since 2000 there have been 59 fatal shark attacks in Australia. Including 23 incidents since 2020.^[2]
