Locket is the second extended play (EP) by the American psychedelic rock band Crumb. The track "Locket" has become one of the band's best performing songs.[1]
Music
The instrumentals on the EP have been described as being located in a "cloudy-but-clean pop/jazz realm" with themes and feelings of "detachment, melancholia, nostalgia, and uncertainty."[2]
Critical reception
{{Music ratings | rev1 = Secret Meaning | rev1score = 75/100 | rev2 = Sputnik Music | rev2score = 3.5/5 |} In a 75/100 review, Secret Meaning said of the instrumentals "Everything seems to happen in its own time, at the right time.", while praising Ramani's voice.[3] Sputnik Music described "The sound [being] so ethereal, so dreamy, it gives the listener a sense of unreality. It's as if you heard these songs while dreaming in a deep sleep, and you try to remember them after you've woken up."[4]
