Lokesh Anand

Lokesh Anand (born 1978) is an Indian shehnai player. He studied with Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj^[1][2] and belongs to the Mewati Gharana.^[3]

Biography

Anand was born in Delhi and started receiving training from his father Kalicharan at the age of eight. Later in life, Lokesh received training from Pandit Anant Lal, Pandit Dayashankar Lokesh, and further developed vocal nuances by becoming a disciple of Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj of the Mewati Gharana.^[9]

Lokesh Anand married Payal Anand in 1999. They have two children.^{[citation needed]}
