Lokesh Anand (born 1978) is an Indian shehnai player. He studied with Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj[1][2] and belongs to the Mewati Gharana.[3]
Anand is empanelled with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (Government of India).[4]
Lokesh performs solo and in duet and also does fusion.[5][6][7]

Biography
Anand was born in Delhi and started receiving training from his father Kalicharan at the age of eight. Later in life, Lokesh received training from Pandit Anant Lal, Pandit Dayashankar Lokesh, and further developed vocal nuances by becoming a disciple of Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj of the Mewati Gharana.[9]
Lokesh Anand married Payal Anand in 1999. They have two children.[citation needed]

Lokesh played shehnai for the soundtrack of 2021 Bollywood movie Mimi led by A. R. Rahman.[citation needed] He also performed in the song "Khelo khellum under Aman pant" in Lust Stories 2, a 2023 Netflix production,[citation needed] and for Little Things Season 3 on Netflix and Dice Media.[citation needed]
