Love Songs (1930 film)

Love Songs (French: L'amour chante) is a 1930 French-German musical film directed by Robert Florey and starring Yolande Laffon, Piere Bertin and Janine Merrey.^[1] A separate German-language film Rendezvous^[2] and a Spanish version My Wife's Teacher were also released.

The film was shot in Germany because France was not equipped to produce talkie films of sufficient quality for musicals.^[4][5]

The film's sets were designed by the art directors Marc Allégret^[6] and Julius von Borsody.
