"Love on a Real Train" is a 1984 single by Tangerine Dream from the soundtrack for the film Risky Business.[1][2][3] Critics have noted the influence of Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians on "Love on a Real Train".[4][5][6][7]

The song has been featured on other film soundtracks including 1987 comedy Three O'Clock High, Noah Baumbach's The Squid and the Whale,[8] the television series Mr. Robot,[9] interactive Netflix film Black Mirror: Bandersnatch,[10] the Netflix movie The Babysitter: Killer Queen[11] and Ben Affleck's Air. This track also drew inspiration for the background score of Rajiv Rai's Arjun Rampal-starrer Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001), composed by Viju Shah.

"Love on a Real Train" was voted one of the best 200 songs of the 1980s by Pitchfork magazine.[12]
