History
Lynx Entertainment was launched by Richie Mensah in 2006, initially as a full-service record label focused on artist discovery and development. Over time, the label became known for consistently producing hit songs, introducing new talent to the industry, and driving modern Ghanaian pop culture. [1]
In January 2025, Lynx announced a new phase of operations focused on global digital distribution, publishing administration, and label services. Through a partnership with Vydia, the company enables African artists to distribute music to more than 200 digital platforms worldwide. Lynx also secured a publishing agreement with Sony Music Publishing, enhancing its ability to manage rights, royalties, and international sync licensing opportunities. The company has been recognized for both its creative output and its structural innovations, evolving from a 360 management model into a services-driven music business.
