Manav Gohil began his career in the early 2000s after winning the “Man of Gujarat” pageant, which prompted him to shift from Vadodara to Mumbai to pursue acting professionally. He trained at Kishor Namit Kapoor’s acting academy.

His television debut came with the show Choodiyan in 2001. He quickly became a familiar face on Indian television through notable roles in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kkusum, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and C.I.D., establishing himself as a dependable lead and supporting actor during the golden era of Indian soap operas.[3]

Gohil also performed in theatre productions such as Kennedy Bridge by Khalid Mohammed and Lady from the Ocean by Illa Arun.

In 2006, Gohil took a break from television to focus on a film titled Bhanvraa. However, the project was shelved indefinitely, leading to a career hiatus that lasted nearly four years.
