Manish Kashyap (born Tripurari Kumar Tiwari; 9 March 1991), is an Indian politician, journalist, and YouTube content creator from Bihar. He is currently a member of the Jan Suraaj Party.[1][2]

Early life and education
Manish Kashyap was born on 9 March 1991 in Damaria, Mahanwa Village, West Champaran, Bihar, to Udit Kumar Tiwari.[1] He completed his schooling in Champaran and later earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Savitribai Phule University, Pune, in 2016.[1]
Digital career
Manish Kashyap began his career as a journalist and YouTuber.[3][4]
Political career
In 2020, Manish Kashyap contested the Bihar Assembly Elections as an independent candidate from the Chanpatia constituency, securing 9,239 votes and finishing third.[5] He used the symbol of a farmer riding a tractor, symbolizing his support for rural communities. In 2024, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and continued political activities in Chanpatia.[6] In 2025, he joined the Jan Suraaj Party and is contesting from the same Chanpatia constituency.[7]
Controversies
In 2023, Manish Kashyap was arrested and lodged in Beur Jail, Patna, in connection with alleged misinformation cases. He was later released.[8]
