Manthrikappoocha

Manthrikappoocha (The Magic Cat) is a short novel by Vaikom Muhammad Basheer published in 1968.^{[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]} It is one of the most famous among his works.^{[8][9][10][11][12]} The novel revolves around a cat that often ventures out into Basheer's house.^[13] The narration of the story is filled with pleasant humour and anecdotes from Muslim and Hindu religious lore.
