Marinococcus halophilus

Marinococcus halophilus is a Gram-positive and halophilic bacterium from the genus of Marinococcus which has been isolated from a salted mackerel.^{[4][1][5][6][3][7]} Marinococcus halophilus produces ectoine.^[8]
