Mary Killen is a Northern Irish etiquette expert who writes an "agony" column for The Spectator.[1] She is also the author of several books, and formerly worked in the Ministry of Defence.[2]
Killen lives in Wiltshire, England, and is married to artist Giles Wood.[1] They met when Giles was studying at Wimbledon Art School, and Mary was a model. Mary was formerly the face of Heinz Soup in a 1970s advertisement campaign[3][4] Mary and Giles have two children.[3]
The couple have been regular participants on the television programme Gogglebox since Series 5 in 2015.[1][5]
Mary and Giles often address each other as 'nutty'.[6]
