Mashkay (Urdu: مشکے) is a tehsil of Awaran District in the Balochistan province of Pakistan.[3] The town of Gajjar is the tehsil administration headquarters.[citation needed]

Population
According to the 2023 Census of Pakistan, Mashkai Tehsil has a total population of 45,938.[5] The tehsil covers an area of 13,075 square kilometers, resulting in a low population density of about 19 people per square kilometer.[5]
The literacy rate in Mashkai Tehsil stands at 41.21%, with a gender disparity: 48.92% literacy among males and 32.70% among females.
