Mazraeh (Persian: مزرعه) is a city in the Central District of Aliabad-e Katul County,^[a] Golestan province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Katul Rural District.^[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, Mazraeh's population was 3,957 in 1,085 households, when it was a village in Katul Rural District.^[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,198 people in 1,285 households.^[6] The 2016 census measured the population as 4,009 people in 1,352 households,^[2] by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city.^[7]
