Mecistocephalus tsenapus is a species of centipede in the Mecistocephalidae family. It was described in 1944 by American myriapodologist Ralph Vary Chamberlin.[1][2] This species is light brown, has 49 pairs of legs, and can reach 16 mm in length.[1]

Distribution
The species occurs in New Guinea. The type locality is the Tsenap Hills, upper Sepik River, Papua New Guinea.[2]
