Biography

LaForme was born in Buffalo, New York in 1953.^[1] He represented Canada in the men's eight at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, where the team came eighths.^[1] He won a gold medal at the 1985 World Rowing Championships in Hazewinkel with the men's quadruple sculls.^[2] He represented Canada in the quad scull at the 1988 Summer Olympics.^[1]
