Miloslavsky District (Russian: Милосла́вский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in Ryazan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,397 square kilometers (539 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Miloslavskoye.[2] Population: 13,455 (2010 Census);[4] 16,564 (2002 Census);[8] 20,808 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Miloslavskoye accounts for 33.3% of the district's total population.[4]
