Ashma Kumari of Nepal was originally set to compete, but was replaced by Miss World Nepal 2025, Luna Luitel, for unknown reasons.^[1][2]

This edition will mark the debut of Bhutan^[3] and the return of the Cook Islands which last competed in 2019.^[4]
