History

In 2012 the project was awarded to a consortium of Corsán-Coviam Construcción and Isolux Ingeniería as well as Alstom (28 %). Construction work began in September 2013 and was planned to finish in 2016. But because of financial problems of Corsán-Coviam Construcción the project had to be reawarded to Cosider Travaux Publics, Cosider Ouvrages d'Art and Alstom.[2] First test drives were published in 2021.[3]
