Raam Jethmal Punjabi (born 6 October 1944) is an India media magnate and president of Multivision Plus (MVP).[1] In 2001, due to his production of soap operas, he was referred to as "Indonesia's own soap king".[2]
Early life
He was born in Surabaya, East Java to parents of Indian (Sindhi) descent.[3] His nephew is Manoj Punjabi, which co-founded MD Entertainment.[4]
