Muthoottu Mini Financiers is an Indian non-banking financial company (NBFC) headquartered in Kochi, Kerala. Established in 1998, the company primarily focuses on gold loans and also offers a suite of financial services including microfinance, insurance, wealth management, and money transfers. History
By FY2025, it reported a revenue of ₹815 crore and an Asset Under Management (AUM) of ₹4,142 crore.[1][3] The company's credit rating was upgraded to "A (Stable)" by ICRA and CARE Ratings.[4][5][15][16][17][18]
Services and operations
Gold loans remain the core business of Muthoottu Mini, with various products tailored for short-term liquidity and low-income households. The company also offers secured Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs), raising up to ₹150 crore in recent public issues with yields between 8.84% and 10.47%.[19][20] It has also launched specialized schemes like the "Safe Lock" gold loan and a gold loan lucky draw festival to attract customers.[21][22] Plans are underway to diversify into MSME and two-wheeler finance by 2025.[23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36]
