Nora Rios

Nora Rios (born 29 September 1999) is a Swedish actress. Her breakout role was in Caliphate (2022). She had main roles in Heartbeats [sv] (2022–2023) and An Honest Life (2025). She also stars in the upcoming series Life on Seacrow Island [sv] (2025).

Biography

She was born on 29 September 1999. She has a younger brother. She grew up in Eriksberg [sv], Uppsala and initially considered pursuing a career in journalism. She moved to Stockholm after being accepted to a theater program at Södra Latin.^[1][2]

She appeared in Bankrånet (2013), Arne Dahl: Mörkertal [es] (2015), Beck – Sista dagen [sv] (2016), and Arkeologens dotter (2018).^[3] Her breakout role was in Caliphate (2020) as Sulle.^[4][5] She was nominated for the Rising Star Award at the Stockholm International Film Festival the same year.^[6]

Rios played a young radical named Max in An Honest Life.^[7] She stars as Malin in the SVT series Life on Seacrow Island [sv], which will be released 31 October 2025.^[1][8]
