The Nursery Inn is a Grade II listed suburban pub in Heaton Norris, Stockport, Greater Manchester, England.

History
It was built in 1939 in a sub-Georgian design with a multi-room layout,[1] as a replacement of a 19th-century pub that had been on the site.[2]
Its name is believed to have been taken from a plant nursery that was located nearby.[2]
The Nursery Inn was named as the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA)'s National Pub of the Year for 2001.[3][4][5][6]
On 22 December 2011, it became a Grade II listed building.[2]
It is run by Hydes Brewery,[7] who oversaw refurbishment of the interior and exterior of the pub in 2024.[8]

Stockport County connection
The Nursery Inn, was one of the first headquarters of Stockport County F.C. (founded as Heaton Norris Rovers in 1883), when the club's ground was nearby.[9][10][11]
In August 2025, the Nursery Inn, and its nearby bowling green served as the location to promote Stockport Country's third kit for their 2025–26 season, with the original Heaton Norris Rovers historical crest.[12][13][14]
