Palaeopentacheles is an extinct genus of decapods that is the sole member of the family Palaeopentachelidae[2] and lived in what is now modern day Germany (Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg) as well as the United States (Washington) from the Kimmeridgian stage of the Late Jurassic Epoch to the Rupelian stage of the Oligocene Epoch.[1]
