Palanchok Bhagwati Temple (Nepali: पलाञ्चोक भगवती मन्दिर) is a Hindu place of worship located in Panchkhal Municipality, approximately 42 km from Kathmandu.[1]
The temple features a 3 feet tall idol of the Goddess Bhagavati carved out of black stone.
This temple is believed to have been constructed during the reign of King Mānadeva.[2]
The temple is dedicated to the goddess with 18 arms, who is believed to protect people from danger and misfortunes. The temple was built in 503 AD.
