Panehesy (pꜣ-nḥsj /pɑ nɛħsi/, also spelled Panehsy, Pinehesy, etc.) is an ancient Egyptian masculine name, meaning "the Nubian." It is suggested to be the original Egyptian form of the Hebrew name Phinehas.[1]
