Paradelta Bora

The Paradelta Bora is an Italian single-place paraglider, designed and produced by Paradelta Parma of Parma. It remained in production in 2016 as the Bora 2.^[1][2]

Design and development

The Bora was designed as an intermediate glider. The models are each named for their approximate wing area in square metres.^[1]

The improved Bora 2 was introduced in 2003 and remained in production in 2016.^[1][2]

Reviewer Noel Bertrand noted the Bora 2's introduction in 2003, writing, "this elegant wing, like all high performance wings, has triple cells with diagonal cell bracing and thin section lines".^[1]

Variants

Bora 2-24

Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 10.2 m (33.5 ft) span wing has a wing area of 24 m² (260 sq ft) and 63 cells. The pilot weight range is 60 to 90 kg (132 to 198 lb). The glider is AFNOR certified.^[1]

Bora 2-26

Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its 11.2 m (36.7 ft) span wing has a wing area of 26.3 m² (283 sq ft) and 63 cells. The pilot weight range is 80 to 100 kg (176 to 220 lb). The glider is AFNOR certified.^[1]
